Gradient heat flux sensors - GHF Series

Now available—and gradually replacing the IHF Series—the GHF Series heat flux sensors offer exceptional performance. Based on differential technology (radial thermal gradient at the sensing face), GHF sensors measure heat flux densities ranging from a few kW/m² up to several MW/m² over short durations. Thanks to their significant thermal mass, they can absorb heat for up to 60 seconds (depending on the model) without compromising measurement accuracy.

They are available in four flux density ranges—250, 500, 1,000, and 5,000 kW/m² (5 MW/m²)—and come in radiative, convective, and total flux versions.
