"Inverse method" targets

_edited.png

Product details

The inverse heat conduction problem (IHCP) method is an approach used to determine unknown thermal conditions, such as heat flux or surface temperature, from internal or backside measurements on a solid.

Nextherm Sensing designs flat targets (plates or discs) for applications such as fire exposure, equipped with thermocouples on the backside. The frontside temperature and incident heat flux are determined by post-processing with our NextInv software. It is based on a 1D Beck sequential method.

A robust and reliable alternative to heat flux meters for the most demanding tests!
